Fundamentals of Mixing

In this brief course, you will be introduced to the fundamental tools and methods behind mixing your music, to create a professionally polished final sound! You'll learn how to: 1. Set up new projects via routing 2. Balance the volume of each instrument/track 3. Properly assign each instrument/voice a space across the stereo field. 4. Utilize reverb to create a cohesive and realistic sound. 5. Apply Equalization (EQ) to clean up the frequencies of your mix 6. Use compression to even out the volume. Along the way, each tool will be taught as part of a reliable and replicable workflow, so you never feel lost mixing new projects.
